With a serialized comic that only publishes once a week, a page like this has got to be a little annoying for readers. Without any dialogue, and little action, I suspect that it could be a bit unsatisfying especially at the beginning of a new chapter. But, this is a sacrifice to that larger story.

I’m not tremendously satisfied with how this page turned out. Specifically I’m just not happy with the face in panel three. I lost something from the original sketch that I wish was still in the final drawing. She’s more helpless than afraid in this final. That’s not necessarily wrong, but it’s not as dramatic as I wanted. This is something that I’m putting on the list to consider changing when it comes time for edits.
