Once again, I’ve posted some of the major milestones on the way to page 2 below. The procedure that I followed differed somewhat from page one in that I inserted the word balloons at a much earlier stage of production. This was important because there is a lot of dialogue here and placement became an issue. It also allowed me to save some time by not coloring details that were ultimately covered by the balloons. As it was, I had to edit out quite a bit from the script to fit this on the page. In retrospect, I think that page 2 might be a little more dense than it should be. I’m not sure how this matter will play out in future pages, but it’s something that I really need to consider when scripting this stuff. With more happening than page 1, this one took longer to produce. The draft that is posted online is actually a bit rougher than I’d like, as I made some visual concessions in order to get this posted on schedule. I may go back in there and clean some stuff up in the future. But for now, I’m just going to concentrate on page 3.
