Page three was a bit of a relief after page two. The previous effort was a bit busier than I wanted and required more work that it should have. As such I made a few compromises with it. With page 3 I was able to pay some attention to the overall layout and do a fewf fun things that no one other than me will ever care about. For example, I tried to do a mirror-like symmetry between the two characters down the page. I wanted the two perspectives to change and converge in the center when Perso hands Docter Kaiper the crumpled paper.

Another thing that page three allowed me to do was tinker further with the production process. As I further develop these techniques I will discuss them in future posts.

There are of course, several things that I’m not happy with on page three. The crumpled note doesn’t look right and I don’t think that Kaiper’s expression is quite right at the end. I will probably address these sorts of things in the future. I plan to edit these pages as my art technique matures.
